Recalled to Life

Yes, Karl and Bernard (or at least just Karl) are very familiar with Charles Dickens.

Karl and Bernard, after being stunned for quite a while by academia have woken to pine for the fjords, and to update their loyal readers about their lives.

In approximately 12 hours Karl will be on his way to Dixieland to visit Hagrid, Norbert, and Lupin. There he will frolic for a day or two, and then make his way back North with Hagrid, Norbert, and Lupin. Then he, Hagrid, Norbert, Lupin, Bernard, and NOT Steinbeck will be going as far North as it is possible to go without needing a passport.

Well, not quite that far. According to Steinbeck's namesake, when you get that far, Columbiathegemoftheocean becomes depressingly bare.

Bernard will bring TECHNOLOGY to a National Park, and with the aforementioned TECHNOLOGY the ex-parrots may possibly update. Which being translated means, Karl will pester Bernard to allow him to use his TECHNOLOGY, and if Bernard has any remaining drops of the milk of human kindness, he will allow Karl to post.

If there is nothing posted, then it will be "Nobody's Fault"...*ahem* (Dickensian slip of the tongue...or fingers, I guess since it seems more appropriate for a typist) BERNARD's fault.
